GARAGE SALE

A garage sale, yard sale, or porch sale shall be permitted on any one piece of property only two (2) times during any one calendar year for a maximum of three (3) consecutive days.

 A permit for such sale can be obtained at the Township Hall (or at the bottom of this page) at a cost of $2.00 per permit.  Permits must be posted on the premises and be visible from the road.

One sign on the premise is permitted two (2) days prior to the sale and may remain up until the sale is over.  You may have as many lead-in signs as you wish.  All signs must be removed immediately following the sale.  No sign may be larger than 24” X 24”.

 Anyone in violation of this ordinance may be issued a civil infraction violation (ticket) immediately.  The first offense is subject to a civil fine of not less than $50.00, first repeat offense not less than $125.00, second repeat offense not less than $250.00, third repeat, or any subsequent repeat offense, not less than $400.00 each.
