Plans are for a Community Park with the Marina but one facet of the site. The Community Park Community has been formed to facilitate the development.
Created to facilitate the application for a DNR grant for the possible purchase of property for a Township Marina.
The Recreation Plan, a requirement for a DNR grant application, has been updated and approved by the DNR.
The grant was submitted April 1, 2006. The grant has been awarded in two annual payments. The monies have not been received. The second payment is 'being applied for' via an Acquisition Grant which we have been told is a 'formality'.
No method of assigning spaces at the Marina if the grant is successful has been discussed at this time.
